Power and Performance

Four powertrains anchor the redesign of this this new Chevy truck. A new 2.7-liter TurboMax engine pairs with a 10-speed automatic, joined by the segment-exclusive 3.0-liter Duramax® Turbo-Diesel and two naturally aspirated V8 engines: a next-generation 5.7-liter and an all-new 6.6-liter. Chevrolet calls the 6.6-liter V8 the most powerful naturally aspirated V8 in its class.

Technology Features

Screens dominate the new cabin. A 16.3-inch touchscreen and a 12.2-inch digital driver display come standard across every trim, and ZR2 and High Country push further with an 11.5-inch front passenger display, a Head-Up Display, and a Rear Camera Mirror for more than 60 inches of combined display. Dual wireless charging and Super Cruise hands-free driver assistance with trailering capability round out the available technology on the 2027 Chevrolet Silverado 1500.

Off-road hardware separates three trims. Custom Trail Boss and Trail Boss get a two-inch factory lift and 34-inch mud-terrain tires; ZR2 adds a two-inch lift, 35-inch mud-terrain tires, locking front and rear differentials, Multimatic DSSV dampers, and an off-road-specific hood. The available ZR2 Bison Edition adds AEV bumpers, rocker protection, 18-inch beadlock-capable wheels, and skid plates covering key drivetrain components.
